Please take 4.5 minutes out of your day to watch this video. It is incredible and translates into the true meaning of Christmas. Christs birth. It is not a 'classic' Christmas tune but it is amazing regardless. Faith Hill does a beautiful job telling this story. I absolutely love love love it. For as long as I can remember I have loved music. Music touches my soul in a way that doesn't happen to others that often. The first time I heard this song, I played it on repeat, closed my eyes, listened to every word, tears welling in my eyes and goosebumps on my arms. Every song I hear I try to imagine myself in that place in time and with this song in particular I was imaging Mary and how scared she must have been when she found out she was pregnant, all the traveling she had to do, giving birth. She was young and she was having a baby. The baby that changed everything.
